I don't suffer from insanity, I'm enjoying it!

The day started with the 2am 100K Freeroll and playing so tight as to almost not play anything. (6/7vpip and 6/7pfr) - I made it to a paid spot and was just outside the top 500 again. A small prize and some really good poker. Eventually out with a shove on the BB, that went south the minute I clicked all in.

I had to open the front door and enter the real world for a 9 to 5 interview today, so the rest of the day was busy on that...

I got into the 3pm 100K Freeroll about 15minutes in, and, again playing tight, but MUCH more aggresive.

Having read some great strategies on 2+2 website and having a poker buddy on the rail for support, has really given me an insight in to mistakes I didn't even see yet.

I got some traction in the freeroll and was amassing a small chip stack, limped a SB with Ah 7h (regretted the limp immediately!) lets review the hand here: it's a runner-runner-river-stars special!

The preflop limp is the problem, the runner runner just ... adds further insult...odds anyone? comments welcomed on this one!

I realised from reviewing my stats at a certain, poker rankings website, I have cashes of $517 just for 2012 from buyin tournies...not including any freeroll cashes... but, my bankroll doesn't reflect this....shamefully!

My next step will be to learn, study, understand, utilise and make best use of the bankroll and management....I have tried to be a good bank roll manager, but....60c at the cashier is like a school report reading, must try harder....probably more like, Mark would do well if he just attended class.

Clearly, I have much to learn, but. This is what this blog is here to show, that...going from a complete donk with little controls or understanding, can, with the right strategies and planning, turn a small bankroll into a larger bankroll.

Decided to play a couple of the 10c 360man mtt turbos and well...

In 1000hands today, had 6 rivers against me, 1 for....and that feels about right a normal day at the pokerstar orifice....again...

I eventually played in six 10c 360man mtt turbos - and got right royally rivered all evening....did catch a few cards myself, but barely a hand to be seen, and nothing of any interest to highlight.

Didn't play that well towards the bubble, and busted out of 5 before paid...did make paid in one of them, a whooping 24c, for the 60c I spent on buyins....if the random cards would be so kind as to NOT river me on every single hand I play. I might actually have a chance, and a bit of bankroll....night ended with 8 riverings, to 2 that went my way. Did see a few hands where the 'non' cards played out the final streets and didn't change anything...AMAZINGLY! god they were boring...
