Skill League

So,

To begin I'd like to say how brilliant my time has been so far with the PSO skill league, and I've currently participated in only one of the matches.  Which took place for me at 3.00am WET.  Now, I naively entered this event, believing I'd either quickly get knocked out or that it wouldn't take a long time to complete, however, I was playing till 6.00am WET when I think my body decided It was no longer fit to make good choices in my poker game.

I placed 188th out of the 1600 playing which I was satisfied with, as it's the best standing I've had in the game since I've started playing, last week.  The information provided on this site in the form of quiz's and blogs has been extremely insightful and I'd like to thank you all for publishing the help on the site.

I feel I could have place a lot higher had I not been so tired, so I plan on playing again whilst fully awake and able to make better decisions in my game.  There is also still a lot I'd like to learn about the game, specifically about effectively counting odds on the go, which I'm trying to do but I often misjudge a hand when as I'm trying to work it out too quickly, I should probably start memorising some of the popular odds and see what effect it has on my long run game.

I think I've gotten the hang of tight aggressive play though, as over the course of the 3 hours I was playing, I was consistently the player with the highest bankroll across the various tables I was placed on, as well as effective bankroll management, however, that could still be improved and handling tilt could also definitely be worked on, as I fell flat after two terrible rounds.

Thinking of starting to post hand histories and start analysing more in-depth on the forums, in hope for further progression too.
