First time ChromeStar

By: mute07 @ 14:46 (EDT) / 381 / Comment ( 2 )

Just wanted to take the time to say that for the first time ever I've achieved ChromeStar. It may not seem like much at the time but for me its kind of cool, it shows that at least I'm making some sort of progress.

Next step for me before the end of the year is to start playing 5NL. On August I had a bankroll of $20 something, as for today is on $134. The plan I have is to keep grinding on 2NL tables and any other freeroll I play (i.e. The Big Bang) until I hit $150, then I'll start playing a couple of 5NL tables; if I lose 3 buyins I'll go back to 2NL and repeat. That will continue until one of two things happen: either I succeed and continue playing regularly 5NL or I end up giving up (FYI I'm not planning on giving up).

Other than that I'll continue writing blogs here, I think that a lot of the things I talk about on those kind of "motivation" blogs are things a lot of us can relate to and I don't mind giving my own personal experience (even if my experience isn't as big). Of course I'll also post updates of how I'm doing with my little quest of playing 5NL

Any comments are well received, see ya around and gl on the tables!
