Time to make some changes

Ever since I started playing poker my main focus has been fullring cash tables, for some reason I found them very appealing. Tried to play 6-max a while ago but just couldn't get my head around it, some say it's the same but with less seats but it didn't feel that way to me. On my last post I talked about how I had to drop down yet again to the NL2 tables to get back on my feet after a rough couple of sessions at the NL5 tables and I've been working slowly to get back on my feet once more.

Of all of the social networks, Twitter is the one I use the most when in comes to poker. I share things as well on Facebook but it's on Twitter where I share hands with boom links, sometimes just talk about how the session went and obviously share the links to new posts on my blog. I get to follow (and be followed by) some players from micro and highstakes and that's something pretty cool. Recently I had the opportunity to talk to one of them (we have shared some tweets but never really talked in a sense) and he is going to help me with my problems on the micros.

One of the things is that he is a 6-max player, therefore first I had to make the change to those tables if I wanted his help to be meaningful. Started playing by myself, then he pointed out his way and I'm happy to say that so far so good.

The thing I like the most is that for the first time ever since I started playing online poker I have someone to talk to. I've never really had some sort of "group" to discuss poker hands or anything before, now I see how that is a very useful tool.

This is my 2nd week playing at the 6-max tables and I feel pretty confortable playing there now, somehow I've found them softer that their fullring counterpart. With some December vacations coming soon I'll be able to play more poker, with some hard work and a little luck I might be able to get the results I've always wanted. Just got to put my mind into it and grind hard. Keep you posted! Until next time!
