Gotta like the Hot 55 (Cent)

By: ollyy51 @ 22:16 (EST) / 421 / Comment ( 1 )

Hey, it's been a crazy weekend for me. I played the Hot 55 cent turbo 3 times and ended up in the money all three - a 34th, a 4 or 500th (?), and a 9th, certainly my best showing. I've had problems playing in money tournaments only because I haven't really had a lot of money or time or perhaps the pressure. But I had a lot of chances in the Poker Skills League and Hubbles to improve my game. I'm certainly beginning to notice patterns at the tables and adjust my play accordingly - sometimes jumping in on a slow table and other times waiting. Certainly it's a lot of fun and I have good runs as well as bad ones. I think most of my training is on the Sit and Gos, with 360 people, and I love making the money and the final table on that. But I think it's time I move up a little - even us older guys like to get down and play poker! See you out there...
