EPT Monaco

Well, I managed to survived the 8,800 runner field to be amongst the 250 that garnered tickets to play to get the ticket for the April tournament in Monaco... and I want to go.

I squandered my last attempt when I refused to give up on trips to potential flush on the flop which turned out he hit the flush.

The field is not as big as the satellite qualifier but challenging none the less... just over 4,850 runners will vie for 1 ticket.  The winner will be deserving from such a large field to compete with the best poker players to gather in Monaco.  It would be a privilege to sit amongst them but chips are chips and live poker is more fun when played in other countries.

So my game plan is tight, tight, tight but jump at chances when availalbe.  Every chip is sacred and no one will be giving them up easy.  Creativity will be needed so that one's chip can grow, even at a minimal speed.  A healthly chip stack will be needed when blinds start getting high.

I figure the pace will be slow until hour two when all-in's will be standard bets.  A healthy chip stack can help targeting smaller stacks.  Cards need to kick in at opportune times and minimal mistakes would be indeal.

If I play smart, I can be sitting in Monaco... so play smart it is
