Really irritating when your opponents in poker make long-term losing decisions against you and they get rewarded for it. One of the most important things I've learned playing poker is that it's more important to be process-oriented rather than results-oriented. As long as you go through the right process to give yourself the best chance to succeed long-term, you will succeed eventually. Even when things aren't going your way, you still have to believe that your fortunes will improve. It's all about positive thinking. The journey is just as important as the destination. I look at poker and life from a long-term perspective and make what's the best decision long-term in poker and in life. As long as a person goes through the right process to give themselves the best chance to succeed, then in my eyes they are already a success even though the result might not show that. Basically what I would say to people is to be process-oriented and not be result-oriented. Whether it's life or poker, if you make the right decisions and it doesn't work out it shouldn't discourage you from making what is the right decision long-term.
