DONKEY??????

By: philco 69 @ 09:03 (EST) / 167 / Comment ( 0 )

I have decided to post a blog for the first time since been playing this PSO skill league for a month now.  I think people should be mindful of the fact that there is people out there learning hence the reason that we are all playing the pokerschool online freerolls.  I have personally been abused by certain members playing the skill league by calling me a DONKEY.  Well i must say if they are too good for people like me starting out in online poker then why are they playing the freerolls in the first place.  I have only been playing pokerstars for a month now and some of my results have been terrible but on the other hand some of my results have been really good.  I`m still trying to find the fine line here and not on this to be abused by anyone.  Every single player has Good Beats where they can`t do anything wrong and on other days Bad Beats where they can`t do anything right.  I for one hate when you put someone out and they hang around to give you abuse for about half an hour and longer by way of the chat box.  DONKEY is the most common name i seem to be abused with these days by people suffering from a bad beat.  It`s not my fault they called my bet when they were behind in the hand or they were ahead only to be outdrawn by me.  Thats poker for you i say to these guys.  I don`t know how many times i`ve been in front only to get beaten on the river etc.  For instance  i was playing last week and had 9600chips and was on the button with my pocket aces.  I was second in chips at the table i was playing so i did what i was meant to do and raised 4 times the big blind and added an extra big blind for each of the callers that limped in before me.  The correct play i`m sure.   Everyone else folded apart from the player who was chip leader at my table he decided to raise my raise in middle position so i re-raised him then he re-raised me so i went all in pre-flop and he called me with K J offsuit.  I thought yes i`m doubling up here only for him to hit a backdoor flush to put me out.  Then last night i limped in with A 6 of diamonds hit the nut flush and pushed all in on the river to be beaten by a straight flush.  If those are the actions of a DONKEY then thats what i am.  I said well done to those players and moved on because if you dwell on the bad beats it drags you down.  No point looking for their name in the leaderboard and abusing those people because in their mind they made the right call and walked off with my chips.
