All In ..pokerrrrrr about my poker life..
Send PM

Im always busting my poker money and reloading $10-$50 here and there and Im sick of it because I usually win way more then what I deposited by taking it slow at first and finally making a decent cash by taking small shots that wont really hurt the bankroll. Then I just lose it.

Mainly this happens because of tilt, poor game selection(taking shots/chasing losses), jumping around from every different kind of game, pretty much lack of self control.

I been going through this over and over for almost 4 years and its really frustrating.

Ive tried to set goals and challenges in the past but nothing really changed.

I know I have to change my ways and really stay on track or else I will never succeed in this game.

Im sure theres alot of people out there like me who always lose  money because lack of discpine and self control.. Heres an example of things I would do in the past...

I have $50 I play some random tournament like a $1-2 tournament win like 70 bucks or something.. start playing 1.50 sngs or 3.50 sngs for a few weeks and have like 350$ start going on a losing streak and have like 230$ get super tilted and play 30$ heads up and get lucky and win upto $350+ again and think ok I should stop.... but instead I think ok im back to 350 ill just play one more since im running good... so I go and play one more lose and think to myself.. aww man this guy is a lucky fish... so I rematch and lose like 4x back to back and get really frustrated and just say F IT! Sit at a 60$ hu and win then lose everything immediatly after and to top it off the guy who just sucked out in your last game for ur last money says thnx fish in the chat when u lose ;(

How stupid is this right? Its really stupid and then the feeling you get after really sucks.

Ive been through things like this over and over in the past and know this feeling so well.. People say its my own fault and its true. This is the type of thing I have to fix on my own.

So now Im really set on making sure this never happens again....

My plan....

I have $30 in my cashier and an extra $10 I have someone holding incase I go busto.

So my main goal is to fix my self control issues..

Fixing my biggest leaks tilt and self control....

My plan for when Im tilting.

Stop loading games immediatly walk away from computer after finished with games running.

Take a break however long it takes to cool off watch tv/movies/cook whatever it is I feel like doing to cool off.

Self control plan

Take things slow..

Stop forcing the win focus more on playing good dont rush things play each tournament one hand at a time

Stop forcing myself to play when Im not in the mood dont rush things

Dont let the tilt/frustration take control when things go bad... if I get that feeling like I want to chase losses or take ridiculouse shots or just start steaming for no reason just shut off computer and walk away...

I have to try to realize whats happening before its to late and take action...

Stop raging at people who bother me when Im losing lol....

Dont get over confident when Im winning and play higher because Im running hot...

Plan for improving my game

Watch instructional, training, or review videos.

Participate in live trainings when I can.

Review my hand historys and tournaments.

Dont let other things distract me while Im playing unless I only have one or two tables.

By sticking to my plan Im almost certain I can improve as a poker player!

But  I must also use good bankroll management..

100 buy ins for any game I play sometimes even more depending on the field size and format also the how good is the avg player in the game your playing.

So the smaller the field, the weaker the players, and the slower the blind structure the less buy ins I would need.

Im not going to be a total nit starting out tho since Im familiar with most of the games Ive selected already and at these stakes Im starting with the players are mostly weak.

But as a I move up I will be alot more conservative and selective with what I play.

Anyways this is what I have planned for my $30 bankroll

$30 sngs plan

.10c 360players

.25c 45players and 90players

/sometimes ill play .50c sngs whichever I feel in the mood to play 45  90 or 180players as long as I have more then $25.50

occasional $1.50 heads up sng or single table sng if I have $26.50+

.50c 9man when ever im in the mood and have over $20.50 same with the 9man .31c sattelites to $2.20 mtts

if I ever drop to $20 I will only play 10c and 25c sngs

$30 tournaments plan

freerolls anything goes but mostly the 100k priveledge freeroll

.11c tournaments

.27c tournaments

hot .55c and the .55c that starts around same time.  I wont play these unless I have over $27

$20 and under only will play 11c and 27c tournaments

Thats pretty much the bankroll plan for now as I move up or down I will have to adjust it but mainly I will be focusing on the sngs.

There still the summer challenge promo running so whatever the challenge is I will probably play whatever it requires to get the tickets unless it could really hurt the bankroll.

So thats my plan for this month.

I will try as hard as I can to stick to this plan and as I move up and change the plan I will keep seeing what I need to work on and improve to be a better poker player..
