SCOOP Round Up May 13th

By: royalraise85 @ 10:33 (EDT) / 483 / Comment ( 0 )

SCOOP 2013 gets under way with two events on Day 1 with more than $7.5 million in prize money generated on opening day!

Yesterday’s Action

SCOOP 2013 began yesterday with the first two events of a 44-event festival. With three buy-in levels – Low, Medium and High – for each event, that’s a total of 132 tournaments taking place from May 12-26, making it the largest single poker festival ever held.
There are no results in yet from the first day of the series as the tournaments were two-day affairs. However, the remaining players will play to a finish later today with three more events also set to get under way.

As expected the guarantees of all yesterday’s tournaments were easily surpassed and one or two well known pros – SCOOP 2012 Main Event (H) winner, Nick ‘GripDsNutz’ Grippo, and SCOOP 2012 Event 33 (L) winner Ami ‘UhhMee’ Barer – are hovering around the top of the chips from yesterday’s High stakes events. Find out if they take another title each by logging into PokerStars from 11.00 ET today.
