After making a deposit, I received invites to more $100K Freerolls, so played another a couple of days ago. Didn't make the cut this time - 3,834/22,455 - but I did take up all my re-buys and the additional buy-in.

Big mistake.

Not in terms of the money invested - a paltry $1.20 all told - but the additional chips it bought me just weren't enough to cut the mustard. By the time I got another 1,200 or 2,000 chips, the average stack was way, way larger than that and the big blinds were leeching me, which meant I basically had no options when playing.

So my new tournament strategy (for these entry-level freerolls at least) is to suck my losses up and take it like a man rather than pour good money after bad.
