New Month...New attitude

By: spritchard @ 15:18 (EST) / 167 / Comment ( 0 )

I think I gave up on last month due to a really bad start which btw was totally my fault! I had some beats that frustrated me and I reacted poorly by pushing early in tourneys. I so know better than to do that and have made comments at the tables about others donig it.                                                                                                So what is my problem??? Impatience! Lack of control! Maybe most importantly a poor mind set going in or when I get down in chips.                                                                                                                                          Today I set my mind to it and finished 304 out of over 1700. Not a great finish but a decent and respectable start for the month. It should get me some positive points and  gives me something to build on. Confidence isn't as big a problem as commitment. December I worked at it. Although not as hard as I should.    Promise to self...I will take every tourney seriously and if I'm not in the mood for it I WILL NOT PLAY! I can and will do better.
