Travel time!

Brrrr! It is getting chilly out here, not as bad as Edmonton usually is, but still a bit sad to finally say good bye to summer.  I got my winter tires put on today in preparation for the white stuff but also to be ready for the high altitude drive facing us at the end of the month.

I am heading to Vancouver (Richmond actually) for the WSOP - Canadian style! It is exciting that a circuit event has finally made it to Canada and so close to home!  One of the tournaments is 200 max (I think the last event) so there are some nice chances for a circuit ring!  Come say hi if you are around!

Am getting a bit nervous for the other Canadian poker event coming up in just less than a month, the Canada Cup II.  Of course you can expect I will be playing the event on November 17th (and satellites leading up to it) and am hoping to final table again, it is so much better than any other final table with all the extra perks of getting the trip to PCA, dinners, and a little media attention can be pretty cool too!

What are your winter plans?
