Standing still..

I'm sure that most of you guys have heard of the phrase running good and running bad. Well, in my case, I am neither running nor walking... just standing still. You see, me and my wife still haven't found a sitter to take care of my 2 year old little girl, and with my wife's office work, I'll leave you to guess who is in charge of changing diapers and cleaning baby bottles.  So, I guess I'll be postponing my "In the beginning, Part II" and post this topic first, seeing that I only have a few minutes before my daughter wakes up from her afternoon nap and starts nagging me about putting on another Hi-5 DVD.

Now, before you guys start thinking that I'm trying to raise my family solely by playing poker, you would be wrong to assume that. I am a swimming instructor and it just so happens that this is the lean months, mainly because of the weather. Although, making it as an online pro is not far off from my mind, I'm just being realistic in accepting that I still have a lot to improve in my game before I reach that point.

As a review since I started my 2013 challenge, I wouldn't say that I'm losing ground on my 100,000 VPP goal since I haven't been played a lot last week. What I'm losing out on is the opportunity to improve my PLO game. I firmly believe that experience is the best teacher, and with just under 2,000 hands of PLO played last week. I'm afraid that I have a lot of catching up to do. I haven't yet pushed any panic alarms yet because I'm really working on creating a schedule that will allow me to take care of my kid (while looking for a babysitter), and having plenty of time to play for this week.

I'll try to update you guys on my scheduling task on my next blog...
