New Month - Feb2011

By: uhrren @ 12:08 (EST) / 529 / Comment ( 0 )

The PSO league scores reset today, and I'm really hoping to end this month qualified for the PSO Warmup events in March - seems like a worthy goal.  My January was awfull, but that didn't surprise me, as I played a LOT while recovering from knee surgery (pain killers + poker = bad).  But looking at how I ended the month - after I figured out the league scoring and was off the pills - I think I have a good shot.

I've played a fair amount of "friendly" poker with friends over the years, and a few tournament-style home games, but never played online until late December and January.  I've managed to do well in some PokerStars events; I have a NAPL Senior ticket waiting for a bit later in the month.  If I do well in the school league, maybe I'll get the pennies needed to play one of the "added" events.
