TOO MANY IDIOTS

By: xxBLANCOxx @ 10:46 (EDT) / 244 / Comment ( 0 )

I have packed up poker yet again ( probably for the 100th time as I have found that in the small stakes there are idiots who will call an all in with 74 offsuit etc. This has spoiled the game and basically turned it into a game of bingo, blackjack or roulette where there is NO SKILL whatsoever. I used to enjoy playing tournaments or sit n go's (dont like cash games as you basically lose faster.)  but now against the newish players it is virtually impossible to win as they will play like morons and call with very little - lowering the chances of a good hand winning the pot. EXAMPLE - 90 player sit n go $1.50 buy in first hand - I had Q 10 hearts , flop was JQ2 rainbow - idiot massive overbet suggesting a bluff - which it was as I moved all in. He shows J4 and I was sickened to see a 4 hit the river. This seems to happen more often these days - almost every game I play in now so its BYE BYE NO LIMIT.
Tried limit cash games which was going well until opponent got quads twice in three hands. BYE BYE POKER........
