Well so far today I've placed a 30th, 32nd, and a 50th. Now I know that these aint stellar results but I was satisfied to say the least. What really bothers me is that in each of these I really could of made deeper runs but somehow managed to bleed of my chips when close to the final table. Which brings me to my other point. During my 50th place finish my family was down stairs making carne asada which is basically a mexican bbq. Well anyways they kept calling me and I was to busy playing poker and I really did'nt wanna go downstairs and spend sometime with them. In the end I ended up busting out and decided to be social with my family. After eating and sharing a few jokes with my brother and listening to some stories I had a sudden jolt in my head. I realized that in as much as I love poker I love being around my family even more. They are very supportive in my decisions even though they don't fully understand them they still give me there support. Now I know that cashing in a tourney or having a good cash session is very important to those who take this very seriously I for one would not be the person I'am without my family. I guess what I'm really trying to say is that we need to find a balance between the game we love and the people we love. Never let a losing session affect who you are and always strive to do you're best in the poker world and you're day-to-day life. Now I'm off to play the last tourney of the night and serve myself another glass of Merlot. Good luck in life and at the tables my friends.....
