getting it in with kings

By: yavapani @ 13:35 (EDT) / 323 / Comment ( 4 )
First hand of the PSO tourney I just played in about 5 minutes ago I get dealt pocket kings utg. I make a standard raise to 60 next player to acts makes it 144 with two other players calling behind. Now theres already (537) in the pot . 45 from the blinds, 432 from the raise and 2 callers and my initial raise of 60. I decide to push in my remaining stack of 1440 and put the other players to a big decision. My reasoning was that if they folded i would increase my stack by 537 without showing a hand. If called i would have the best of it pretty much most of the time with my kings. Well as it turned out all 3 players called. Pocket 6, A-Ko, and A-3s. As you already know I ended up losing the hand when a turn A came up. Looking back on it now I couldve just called the raise and shoved on the flop as it was a relative safe flop. Jc 9c 7d. I would like to get some feed back as to how you would of played it and what mistakes you saw in my play. Thank You for your suggestions, criticism, or ideas...
