Starting off fresh in 2011

2010 was the first year I really got into poker.  Previously, I was a professional video game player competeting all around the United States in games such as: Halo 2, Halo 3, and Rainbow Six Vegas.  I started playing poker after seeing a teammate of mine playing online poker on his laptop and decided it looked like a lot of fun and thought I might like the game too.  So I set out to learn poker (not just play).  I went to the first training site I could find before even putting money on the tables and found myself watching countless hours of videos on PokerVT.  The pokervt journey led me to a funfilled time playing the $2 sngs on full tilt and found myself at the 13th ranked spot for overall profit in 2010.

From there I met a new coach by the name Nick Rainey aka MI_Turtle and found myself grinding the $2 180 mans for quite some profit.  I quickly was moved up to the $12s where variance hit me pretty hard and thought maybe these games weren't for me.

By the end of 2010 I was in the black on both Pokerstars and Full tilt but, cashed out my entire roll on Pokerstars so 2011 is going to be a fresh start.  I decided that joining the pso league would be a great way to start and see if I can start from nothing and end up making some more money.  Good luck to you all and ill be blogging quite frequently updating my progress
