I've been out of town lately, so maybe I missed something. Has a definitive date been set yet for the PSO convention?
I am cheap by nature, so I am anxious to book a room at the WPO promotion rate (and they are filling fast), let alone finding a cheap airfare....

Help,

Doe,
As far as we've been told by Tina,at this time. See my thread "latest update on Tunica" (or close to that title). The dates are going to be Thurs. Jan. 9th for the tournament, and Sat. Jan 11th for the Seminar. Go ahead and book it baby!!

Post subject:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are intending to hold the seminars on the Saturday 11th January.
We will not be charging the school members for the seminars or luncheon. However The Goldstrike do see a value in advertising the seminars to the local players and they will charge them an admission fee, this will compensate towards the luncheon.

If you wish to call The Goldstrike and make a provisional room reservation, you can do so, this is of course subject to your making the final confirmation once i have confirmation of the dates from The Goldstrike.
We will be giving away in a school promotion a block of 20 rooms with a rate of $20 per night, and any of the school members winning one of these, will be able to give the promotional code to The Goldstrike against their booking and it will be charged at the new discounted rate.

I hope that this clarifies things a little better and i am so sorry to have to wait this long to confirm dates

Regards

Tina
According to Tina's post that you refer to, they have NOT confirmed the dates. Am I missing something?

Eagle,
Yes, you are correct. The post that you quoted, I think, was the one I posted after Tina responded to my, kind of desperate email to her, requesting an update, so that people could make plans. We STILL have no word on any thing officail. BUT...there are going to be a lot of us there on those dates, as many have gone ahead on the assumption that these dates are good. If PSO can't get it together and co-ordinate things with the GS, I swear, I'll get the clubhouse where I live and we'll have our own tournament. I'm kind of dissapointed that we are still waiting for info on all of this, since the "decision mtg" suposedly was being held last Sat. Perhaps I should be a lil more patient, but I feel like a great opportuntiy is at risk of being bungled here.
