A New Forum Category?? - Thu Jan 16, 2003, 01:59 PM

Is it perhaps time to consider creating a new Forum category for those "oh so special" posts and responses filled with the milk of human unkindness?

- perhaps Nasty Notes would be good. Then, at least, we'd all be warned what we were getting into, and could chose to avoid the unpleasantness.

Frankly, it's not pleasant to be reading a thread - then run into a stream of words and phrases not only offensive, but reflecting more negatively on the poster than the supposed target.

BTW, Tina, how is it that the censoring system seems to work for most - but not all - posters & their messages. Do some have special "ugly word" rights?

And lest I be accused of hiding behind an alias, I happily sign:

Chuck Meny, Fairfield, CA, USA [and for those who care, I'm in the directory].

Another literate, well thought out, pithy, retort; with an implied call to the verbal joust.

Verily, I am so mortally wounded!! And imagine the insult to my non-computer domain. How shall it ever recover?

Hey Bat, I know we didn't meet in Tunica, so I can only assume the irony of my "Fairfield, CA sucks" post in response to your post missed you. Just me trying to be silly (certainly not "pithy"...lol).

Oh, and I've been through Fairfield, CA......and it does suck!
