Small tourneys: Mandalay 10 am, Luxor noon.

Medium tourneys: Sahara (3 nights per week), Orleans, every day, twice per day.

The Mirage has nice tourneys, but the overlay is not good, as the top 25% or so are very good players there.

Good Luck,

Debbie,

This will be the quick version so check when you get there for more specifics.

Starting with easiest to more complex:

Mandalay Bay 10:00 am and Luxor Noon, $25.00 buy in. Starts as limit for first hour and goes to no limit at beginning of the second. Good beginning tournements for new players as well as a great way to shake the dust off for more experienced players. Tournements last about 2 hours in length. On weekends the Luxor does both the 10 and the noon as the Mandalay Bay drops it on the weekend. Mandalay Bay offers some evening tourneys as well, while the Luxor evening is based on hours played in their room. If you play on a weekend at the Luxor look for Jerry M on the list or ask a dealer or Eddie, if I'm there. I may play this Sunday if things go right

Orleans,

Has a tournement running everyday at noon and one in the evening. Some holdem, Omaha, and stud depending on the day and time. Most under $100.00 and also good for new players and more experienced. The skill level however is a good step up when the first hour or so is done. Tournements last about 3-5 hours depending on the number of players.

Mirage

Has evening tournamnets Sunday through Thursday. I would recommend these if you are more experienced and have the bank roll. these are $60-$100 buy in and a number have re-buys. I had my best money finish in their thursday NL 100/120. Of course I had rggator as my coach.

Sams town and the the Sahara have tourneys as well as a number of the Station casinos so pick up a Card Player ( in the poker room at the Orleans) when you get there and look in the back under tournamnets.

The ones I listed are just my favorits so just go and have a good time no matter where you decide to play.
