Thank you for bringing everyone up to date.
I cannot comment on the PSO World Cup as this is Kevins baby and i really do not know where he is with it right now.

As you rightly pointed out we are working on the new schedule, which is a very delicate operation.

Also we have the Convention to organise, and not to forget The Big One II.

Thank you for your patience

Regards
Tina

6 more players gives us 48 players......16 teams...perfect

with 16 teams, it can be a straight knockout..16..8..4..2..1..etc.

or,

4 groups of 4, with either 2 from each qualifying..thus 8 teams..then knockout.

or,

4 groups, winner from each going into semi final.

England/Scotland need 1 more to make 4 teams.
We have 1 rest of world team.
America need 5 more to make 11 teams(ideally 2 more Canada and 3 more States).

If we found these people, we are then ready to rock and roll!!!!!

I must have missed prevous discussions on this "World Cup", but if you're taking enrollments, count me in.

I notice that on aha12877's list, there no US representation west of the corn belt - so here I am!

a lot of the teams have already been formed...i am teaming with hazy and apryll. randy, gator, and huk are one i believe as are the 3 AZ players. i don't think the regional locations matter for the creation of a team.

Dreams...you'll struggle to find 2 more from Mars!

The essence of 'World Cup' is Country v Country etc.
No, I doubt that region matters, but Country does.

CLAY

p.s. Myself and Fidget are still looking for one more team member, 'The Rake' was invited in an earlier post, to post a joke, we got no reply, the offer is still open

APPLICATIONS REQUIRE PUNCHLINES!!!

aha where you get the names from the forum?????

people were asked to email kevin not post in the forum
so there might be people on kevins list not posted in forum

before any PSO WC was to take place i would hope something would be added to the PSOscoop to give all players a chance to join.

as its a WC i would think only 1 team per country should take part and to sort that out who should be in a team there should be quailfing matches.

please let pokerpageskev sort all this out in as and when he sees fit so that the same mistakes in the setting up of the team event dont happen with the PSO world cup
