Clay,
I have received an email from DBPbear, she is having problems posting on the forum and has ask me to post the following :-

"I would like to express my deepest condolences to Clay Knight and his family for the loss of his brother earlier today. My thoughts and prayers are with you."

I would also like to say that my heart goes out to you at this time, it is dreadful when you loose someone you love so unexpectedly and especially at such a young age.

May the darkness soon pass and leave the sunshine of memories in your heart and mind

God Bless Clay and Kelly

DBPBear, Tina, Mark and all the PSO team

Hi people

Kelly told me on Saturday, that she had been talking to Di(dpbbear).
I an touched that she would want to make this post, then take the time to e-mail Tina.
Thankyou for your words Tina.
Then to see all the messages left, it moved me, there are some wonderful people here, and all this means a lot to me, thanks to all of you, and there are also many people that haven't posted here, that have had some kind words to say on the tables to myself or Kelly.
I also received an e-mail from Mark and Tina and The Staff, thankyou.

Just so you all know, I'm ok, we have a very big family and everyone has been strong together, there have been some tough times, my oldest brother, who plays here(like a vice), phoned up the casino where he worked, thought he was coping, but when he said the words, he broke down in tears on the phone to his boss.
When I think of Adam.....I am happy that he was very happy with his life, right up to the end, and it was instant so he wouldn't have suffered, his long time girlfriend has her family with her.

Thankyou all once again for your thoughts.

Through it all, distractions sometimes help, so.............

I am currently TOP!!! of sat league 2 woooohooooo

with love

A persistent thread (usually about bad beats) concerns "what can I do to 'get my game back'?"

Clay's response to a bad beat that puts all those one-outers to shame might serve to help with that problem.

I know that whenever I think the gods of poker have selected me for a turn in the barrel and I get tempted by the "why me?" vanity, I think on things that put AA-cracked in perspective - like outliving one's children.

The perspective gained from these inescapable tragedies can help get through the bad beats of poker and of life. You don't get over them, but you do get through them.

Sorry to steal Clays ID to do this, but just wanted to thank people for the kind messages also.
It has been a dreadful week, Clay crashed his car on Thursday, on Friday we learned that a distant relative had taken her own life, 12 hours later we get the phonecall to say that Clays brother had been killed in a freak accident on a train. The sort of thing that you get away with a thousand times.....unfortunately for Adam it was the one in a thousand time...he was only 32. It's tragic to lose someone, but one so young in such circumstances is very hard to make sense of.I'm so used to people dying of cancer and knowing that the next time I see them may be the last that I keep thinking, I'll see him again too and thinking of what I will say to him. I can't get used to the idea that there will be no chance to say goodbye. I think that maybe God takes the good ones young because they've done all the good they were sent to do. He worked with disadvantaged kids and was kind and warm and a true gentleman. It's also nice to know that he is with his dad now in a place far more beautiful than this.

It puts Clays car crash into perspective. Please remember that life can be so very short and take the time to appreciate those who are important to you. Thankyou all for the messages, they are a great comfort. Apologies for not being my usual bubbly self at the tables, I'm sure you understand.
I just wanted to thank you all and say how beautiful Adam was and how much I'll miss him.

God Bless you all,
Love and Light,

Kelly

Clay,

I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. Out of respect, I will not attempt to win 2 sats to surpass you in Sat 2. Job well done my friend, and while poker is a nice distraction, remember there is much more to life than poker.

Regards,

Aaron
