I was playing in a Sat yesterday and it was down to three players. I had about $15,000.

I was on the BB and had something like 67 - I limped in.

Pete was UTG and had also limped in (third player folded I think)

Flop came 458.

So I had floped a str8. Before I even had a chance to think about How I would lure Pete into going all in - he went all in (all on his own)

Pete had about $2000 and had 38 (not sure about the 3 - but absolutely sure about the 8 ) - he was betting on his high pair (fair enough)

I called.

Turn comes - 8

River comes - 8

His four 8's beat my str8.

Pete goes on the take 1st in the Sat (congrats again Pete) - beating my AA on the last hand.

So if y'all see pete around the tables, I have given him a new nickname - CRAZY 8's
