Anybody playing in the 40 FPP tourney round 1 turbos to qualify for the PCA for next year? They are already running them. I checked into it and there are nine total rounds to get through to win a package. Each round roughly a third of the entrants move on to the next round. I just made it through round 4 today. I must say it is about as easy as a string of satelites can be, as far as winning a prize as big as a PCA package goes. I figure this as good a place to invest 40 FPP's as any considering the prize that is up for grabs and the fact that my FPPs are starting to pile up anyway. If you have the FPPs to spare I highly encourage you to take a look at these. Wish me luck, round 5 for me is on February 13th!

Are they 40 FPP's per round? or once you get past the first level you have a ticket to the next one?

Thanks

It is 40 VPP for the first round only. You get automatically registered for the next round if you survive so you need to make sure you can play in the next round before you enter round one. The first three rounds were in the same day. Round four is the first Sunday following the first three rounds. Round five two weeks from that Sunday. And so on.
There are different PCA satelites to enter. The one I refer is listed as:
PCA Sat: 40 FPP Mega-Path Round 1 (Turbo)

Hope that helps!

As far as I can find, they only have these PCA satelites for FPPs. I guess it is kind of odd that they don't offer cash entry satelites.

The cash tournaments or satellites usually starts in September
As for the FPP's, I've made it to the 6th level once and the 5th once
It's worthed, because once you reach the 200 FPP level, that level and every other level after that, you have a 1 in 3 chance to advance to the next levels

If I'm not wrong, a PSO player made it to the PCA this year

I have a 4000fpp ticket for the next round in two weeks, I played the 1500fpp ticket yesterday to win the 4000fpp one. I started with the 5fpp rebuy and spent a total of 25fpps in the first round.

There are many first rounds. In the first round you need to win 200fpps. I like the 5fpp rebuy the best. But there are alsp 10fpp rebuys, 20fpp, 40fpp. Actually there are about as many fpp levels as you could possably want.

Yesterday when I played the 1500fpp, you could buy into that with 1500fpps. The same went for the 500fpp I played last Saturday.

I plan on entering these satalites till I win a seat, This is my favorite promotion of all time.

You win a seat to the main event where the winner won 2.3 million last time, plust they give you $1000 spending cash, airfare and a hotel room. All for a chance with as little as 5 10 fpp rebuy, 20 - 40 fpp regular games.

Thanks, found them and tried the 5 fpp rebuy. Was holding my own till the puppy jumped and landed on the shoulder I dislocated about a week and a half ago. I can't repeat what I said because that would require way more asteriks then my poor arm could handle. Needless to say, between the pain and the watering eyes concentration went out the window. Decided not to re-buy in since things weren't going to change anytime soon.

I will try again in a day or so when the arm calms back down since I don't have a lot of FPP's to waste making half arse attempts.

Thanks for the info...

Poncho, good job! Somehow I didn't see you were in there with me. Glad there will be someone else in there in two weeks with me. It is an awesome promotion. I hope we both can win five more times. It sounds so easy to type it but I know it is gonna be a wild ride to the finish. Best of luck to you!

Played in my first one today, the 5fpp +R. Was my first ever re-buy and was happy with how it went at first. Left the add-on break with 11k chips with the add-on. But, went big time card dead from there out. Finished in 37th, 8 away from round 2. Ah well, including add on I only spent 35fpp. Looking forward to more of these for sure

I usually play the 40 - 50 or 60 fpp's, the odds are better (no guarantee win)
Because the next level is 200 fpp's, your odds of winning are 1/5, 1/4 or almost 1/3
Yes it is expensive for some to spend 60 fpp's but, if your ITM % is high, than play it 4 times. If you win twice you get 1 ticket and you get credited 200 fpp's

Right now, they are mainly turbo's, but later in the year they'll have ordinary satellites

I'll often buy in the 200 fpp's, just to boost my fpp's
I've been credited lots of fpp's
All worth it

Just had a fun hand in mine, Pocket 9's, board TT9. 3 people in pot. Decent raise from early position on the flop, figured he had a T. I push, both others in pot follow with. Turns a 9 for quads for me, full house for one, rivers a K for K high str for other...fun hand cant beat an early triple up in a turbo

FYI, this is a 20fpp and only about 100 people total in it including late registrations. Top 11 move on, 12-15 20fpp

Do you mean you buy into the Round 2 tournaments for 200 fpp's and keep the 500 fpp's if you win?

If you win 1 ticket to Round 2 can you unregister and keep the 200 fpp's?

Can you opt to keep the fpp's at any round you get to through the nine rounds, rather than playing the next round?

No

If you play it twice and win twice, ONLY than do you get credited fpp's
