I thought payout was 15% or so. Now, (Feb 1), it appears to be a 10%. 1796 entered with 180 payout.

Apparently 10% payout is more in line with the real world. Except for Pokerstars other real money tournaments which pay out 15%, those aren't representative of the real world I guess.

I have to agree with that. The 15% is pretty much a joke, and the 1 hour late register is also something that just burns me. At least in PSO, they limited that to 10 min. That part, I am glad for.

But a change from 15% (or 13%?) to 10% will certainly need to have adjustments made in play, early and mid play especially.

Muhaaaazzz!!!!! Things are changing, and this should be an interesting month. So what I can take from it, all them "OLD" strategys of making ITM, just pushed the play level up a notch, to conforming to "normal" MTT strategy. Beware of the shove monkeys !!!!

PSO is still evolving...very interesting. I wonder if the point distribution has change also?

I also wonder. I hope Cyclist wonders and is gathering data for another sticky worthy thread.

i don't think that changed much - if at all - for my first game or two, being at 1500 points or lower you only have to get into the top 40% of the runners to achieve positive points.
i got down to about 30% and made +9 points so that looks the same to me.
