I keep getting donked and sucked out on the river. Maybe im not a good player. I make a move with the best hand most of the time and get hammered by some player with a birthday hand. Should i call it a career and go play scratch offs? Should i go back to playing my grandmother 1 on1 again? I always win against her. Any advice?

my guess is you're playing way too many hands early in a tourney. You gotta play tighter in the beginning, then loosen up as the tourney progresses.
