a lot of the "poker book reading" players will say, "its part of the game!" yes it is but not 5 times at one table. no way.

VERDUGO,

I know what you mean... For me that explained the last 2/3rds of Jan... So far I've been doing much better this month but it seems to me that the first part of the month is the easiest but the later part of the month it gets crazy as the donkeys feel they have nothing to lose at that point.

Statistically playing solid poker should win out over the long run but as Quads stated not in this league because it seems that if you wait to play solid poker the donkeys suck out against you just as often as you get decent hands to push back with so it is all a wash.

So far I've played 2 of the PSO tourneys this month, both of them the 20:00 ET. I just busted out in 272nd and yesterday in 750th place.

My stats for tonight were as follows:

77 hands played and saw flop:
- 0 times out of 8 while in small blind (0%)
- 6 times out of 7 while in big blind (86%)
- 9 times out of 62 in other positions (15%)
- a total of 15 times out of 77 (19%)

Pots won at showdown - 7 out of 11 (64%)
Pots won without showdown - 5

Yesterday was:

46 hands played and saw flop:
- 0 times out of 6 while in small blind (0%)
- 3 times out of 5 while in big blind (60%)
- 5 times out of 35 in other positions (14%)
- a total of 8 times out of 46 (17%)

Pots won at showdown - 0 out of 2 (0%)
Pots won without showdown - 5

But then again if you ask Puciek I'm just a bad player so what do I know Incidently of the 4 hands I lost on showdowns tonight, 2 were from the BB with unraised pre-flop pots. The other 2 I was the pre-flop raised with suited or pocket pairs.

VERDUGO,

Yes, I've been liking me some PLO8... And it's so terribly easy to rack up the 20 VPP to be active playing it... 4 tables for about an hour each and I'm getting 6-7 VPP so only need to play about 4 nights (~4 hours) a month to make what's necessary but I usually won't stop at that
