You wonder if they even bother looking at where they're posting stuff. I'm sitting at a 7card stud hi/lo cash game where several players are talking trash

Moderator91 [Moderator]: Hello Players.
Moderator91 [Moderator]: Please do not make inappropriate remarks to other players at the table.
Moderator91 [Moderator]: Thank you and good luck to you all in the tournament!

DavidWebb241: is this a rebuy tourney or freezeout?

It's sort of an automated response. I'm not sure any live mods see the chat before that comes up, but I'm sure they check in every now and then. You'll see that response when somebody calls for a moderator because they want to report something. For example, I bad beat a guy two days ago who then made some choice remarks about my mother... So I reported him. That response came up.

On the other hand, I was on a table the other day when a player dropped the N-bomb, threatened to rape a player to teach her a lesson and cont inued to call the mod a "fkn cnt" after he arrived. The mod said "please give me a few minutes to review the chat history" and then came back a minute later and said that the problem has been dealt with, good luck and thank you all for calling me.

The offending player was then silent and sat out of the tournament until he was blinded out and can now no longer be found on the PSO database.

In summary, they do act when really needed to.

Wow. It's amazing how brave people can get when they're just behind a computer screen and not sitting in a live venue. I'm really glad to hear that that player was dealt with, and I hope they were permabanned for that kind of behaviour.

+1 for PS mods.
