ok so i have to put my .02 out here

1) i enjoyed meeting people from my area and have made some new friends by doing so
with the current set up there is no way i'm asking every player from the U.S. to search for local players

2) i am a forgetfull person who can't remember every thread i posted in so i liked how the thread changed color when i posted
now it will soon be just the same old red mess it was a couple of months ago before PSO changed it then

so here is my proposition
can PSO create a poll thread to at least allow us a vote for the changes that they would like to make
i'm fine with allowing PS and PSO to make changes to tournaments at their own will but these minor changes about info and post should at least have the input from us players weighed in before they are implemented

Maybe start by fixing the poll function, I'm no maths genius but I counted 23 voters names and only 5 votes registered

I think the dust gathering in the suggestion box would indicate how high consultation comes on the priority list, I think we'd be turning a strange colour if we hold our breath waiting for any.

I have already sent off an email to support asking them to consider changing back to listing
the city, as I also like searching for people that live in my area. I also pointed out to them that by
listing only the country, it will make it more difficult for players to find and report multiple account
holders, which PokerStars encourages to make it fair for all players. I think that if enough of
us email support about this issue, maybe we can get them to reverse their decision on this.

In the meantime, there is a way that you can find out the city that each player resides. If you go
to the leaderboard and paste their screen name in the search box, and then click on their name
in the list of 5 players that show up, their profile will show their city. A little more work than before, but it's better than nothing.
