Heres hoping a successful poker week end to everyone. You might as well have it since I have been on a cooler for 2 weeks now and as they say variance is a bitch. Things will sort themselves out if I continue to make good decisions which seems to be harder to do since the tendency is to push to make something happen with marginal hands. Something always happens and it is usually bad most of the time.

Jim, just ride it out. You're a good enough player to be able to make it thru it.

I had it happen to me the whole month of Jan (but the cards turned some in Feb). Keep grinding away and you'll be fine in the long run.

Indeed. Had a month like that too. Think I went over 200 consecutive hands that were unplayable. You know what is causing it; you said it yourself. So try breaking out of the rut by playing something other than hold'em in the freeroll game section. Get your mind out of it by staying off the school for a day, or just play one game. The RNG will change, it always does.

Yeah last half of Jan was a cooler for me... This month has been 50/50 so far but had a good finish last night that's put me back up where I want to be to contend.

You need to treat this like an ankle injury and 'play through the pain.'--or consider drinking heavily--

I know the feeling.... started one of those variance stretches two days ago. No matter how good the cards are, or how far ahead you are when the chips go in, you can't win.
