Welcome to the pso and the forum simpler.
A lot of friendly, helpful people around here. I'm not sure what you are referring to in "the old days," but I know I've never seen anything like this in online poker.
Nice first post.
I will be sending you a pm in a day or so.
Hope to see ya' out there and best o' luck!
Dan

WELCOME! Step right up and enjoy the show! All the glitz, the glam, the heartbreak and thrill of victory, all that is PSO!

Ps. The learning is the best part... (utilizing what you learn? even better)

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
