Trumpin Joe Closes all the good topics. Was just about to call the guys over, break out the beers and snacks. Got Walnut Brownies too. (Not the good kind, niece and nephew home)

So, what other sites do you guys play besides Poker Stars. I myself play Full Tilt and Stars. Stars has better games and more ppl, but, I like the software on FT better. Nothing against Stars, FT is just a newer site so, they go the benefit of seeing what was out there before they developed there's. Anyone remember the days Party was hitting 10K in players early out, and the site kept going down. LOL 10K. Wish I could still play party. 4 tabling when the jackpot was up there was fun. Let me know what you guys like and don't like -shark

I like FT chat box better, it doesn't require acrobatics when you are trying to read the older chat and it doesn't delete it as it goes on. But that was all I liked about FT and deleted it off my computer about the same time I put it on.

Carbon Poker - Really soft cash games and rakeback 35%
Fulltilt - But not lately working on rakeback and boycotting till I get it
Bodog - Just getting ready to sign up,finally found a rackback deal for them
Bwin- Not much lately though
Looking at joining a few others but need to look into them.

Has anyone played on Pinnaclesports poker site?
I never hear any one talk about it but I know they are the #1 sportsbook,so have to figure the action is soft.Anyone tryed them?

I believe if you 'Detach Chat,' you can see 'Chat,' 'Stasts,' Notes,' and 'Info' all at once. Plus I resize the Detached chat... fewer acrobatics needed.

Im just sayin...

Does anyone still play on Everest poker?

That place was cool, they had a way to freeroll in, starting with a limit ten top where you won a few pennies and climbed your way up their ladder.

Also no longer open to US players sadly.

Tell more. I was considering going large on there from March. Do I need to put the brakes on?

I solved this problem by throwing an external 24" monitor with 1920x1080 res on my 15" laptop. I'm also running Windows XP under Virtualbox on an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS laptop.

Updated to make my post more germane to the OP... I only play here on Stars. Not for any reason other than that before I added the new monitor and running XP under Virtualbox I was able to run the Stars software natively on my Linux laptop using Crossover for Linux without any problems. None of the other poker room software would work under Crossover. I only switched when I went ahead and bought PokerTracker3 and the HUD doesn't work with Crossover although the rest of PT3 worked fine under it.

I prefer to only play one game at a time so i can profile people more easily, then i may have the detached chat if i am concerning myself with chat, usually i have chat turned off so i dont get distracted by the nonsense, but in the times i do want to read the chat and go back and read the older chat the damn chat flops all over the place when ever anything new is added, if PS could fix that or if i could figure out what i am doing wrong, then PS chat would be perfect except it gets deleated at time goes on. I generally do not care but at times i like to open chat then if it is interesting go back and read it all, which is a pain when it jumps around. In private games i detach the chat box and make it real big. if i am playing two or more games, and they are neither private, then chat is definately turned off. Chat never helped me play better poker, it is good for tilting people, but then my hand may get timed out as i am distracted, so why f my game up just becouse of a little curiousity. My OPR rating is 92 1/2 percent, getting that rating up is what is important to me , not the ignorance people spew into the chat box. And even tilting people is a double edged sword, they may call just out of spite then suck out on you.
