I'd do a little research before doing anything drastic if I were you Dan. Gambling's illegal in Thailand

The satellites to the $11 1000 seat guarantee are easier than a PSO tourney. I am 2 for 2 already.

yeah and they are all luck...the tourney structure is horrible. 1000 chip starting stack and 5 minute blinds? no thank you.

wow pretty lucky,

I did 2 of them and no where close to cashing. and like someone said structure sucks, you get 1k chips and blinds jump 5 minutes but jumps are much higher than regular turbo tourneys

i think its something like:

15/30
50/100
150/300

just ridiculous, you gotta pray to get a good hand and get it in and get callers

then i'll take luck this is second in a row. patience, position, hand value. now where could i have absorbed that? Oh here from members of forum, and the PSO!

Congrats on winning seats to the $11 satty! Although guita is right about the luck factor. The last satty you won Joe Dawg too 1 hour 10 minutes to eliminate 92% of the 303 player field, in a satty where play tends to slow down on the bubble. There was some measure of luck involved.

Now get your Sunday 5M seat and roll one time! GL!!!

thank you, yes there was luck involved. there were two hands that were honestly coin flops, or could have been. I pushed as we were 30 seats from bubble and took a chance the other player wouldn't risk a smaller stack on a drawing hand. It very easily could have been called and left to the flop. I try to put myself in a position where tho luck can and is often a factor, it could be more painful to the other player. Yes this aggressiveness does and has backfired however if i am knocked out it HAS never been with i wish hand! I always make sure i have something worth firing at least one extra shot to win a given hand in a particular situation. player, previous play, prior response to check raise or re-raise. Tenacious, set in my ways? probably however it does work for me. I don't recommend this style to others but it is mine.

in closing thank you for the kind words, from you they mean a lot!!

I also qualified for this Sunday's million
Did it through the $10 shootout, finished 2nd good for a ticket
For now I unregistered and took the T$, but will be participating

I played the regular $10 double shootout (not the turbo), that way, I can play the PSO way and wait for good cards and value bet and get the most out of the other players. Yes it's a long satellite, about 3 hrs, but worth it. It took me 2 try's.

For those who don't know about it, at first you sitting at a table with 4 -5 players (depending on the size of the field, max. 100), win at your table and you move to the final table. Finish top 2 and get a ticket, 3 to 5 get cash (again depending on the field)

I've won a few of those, but I usually take the T$
So I'll being seeing a few of you there
