Not a poker question but a good time waster:

I tried this thing thirty times and it was right every time
even used http://www.mathgoodies.com/calculato...no_custom.html
to generate the original starting number
Didnt mouse over the selections - would make my pick - go for a walk - come back do the next step - go for a walk - check answer and bammo correct again.

Somebody out there must be able to figure this out.
Had some one else a work do it too - and it got it right every time.

I just tried it twice and both times the genie was wrong.

It took about 5 seconds to write out a mathematical proof of what's going on. It's neat, but really easy.

Note, the second digit clearly doesn't matter since for instance 97-7=90, 82-2=80, etc. Now what do you notice about the resulting numbers?...
