High and Dale to all new members. Have just finished my third month and thought I would dash out a few thoughts. The first thing to learn is patience..patience and more patience. And what I mean by that is if you're going through a period of "dead cards" do not despair. You will eventually come out of it. Just keep to your rules of play as you learned in this school. Don't burn out....take some time off...It improves your play and your stamina. Fix your 'leaks" When I finished February..i took a few days to just reconsider my play and make some new changes.
Realize that besides the basic rules you must also play with your heart. Even with playing electronically gut instincts can make a difference. One thing I advise (which of course I didn't do) is to take notes on people..even if it's just that they like mint chocolate chip ice cream. These notes replace live table tells...and can make a difference to winning and losing. Enough running my big mouth...Good luck to all and see you at the tables...

P.S. PM me if you wish to discuss anything i've mentioned.
PPS. okokokok I'm the one who likes mint chocolate chip ice cream!
