I know I made the correct play here, but does anyone advocate set mining with such a low pair under the gun ?

I agree with MONK here. I would hide my hand better with a raise UTG+1. I too will setmine with pairs this small. I like how it was played Bill. However, I would raise to open. Maybe knock it down without flop even. 2.5 or 3 and you can escape with a shove OTT.

Calling would be bad on a 13 bb stack. I would actually prefer a shove over the weak limper on these stacks.... You have good leverage to fold them out, and it looks stronger since you're shoving from EP over an UTG limper. And if you get called, you'll be playing a lot of flips which is fine on a 13 bb stack.

Fold is ok but if you think you have a reasonable shot at getting everyone out behind you and have FE on the weak limper, then shoving would be far superior.

Thanks for your responses guys.

Gladass played either high suited connectors or Two Paint with a limp, a small raise was usually a medium pair or AK AQ a strong raise would have been either a Bluff or a monster, from what I had seen.

I figured he had JQ or better and he had been very fortunate with his choices earlier.

However, when ever he bet light krunovg always raised him sometimes with air.

So when he limped in, I expected a raise somewhere along the way, krunovg, kralovpd, and nepstar had all raised with rubbish and with quality hands in the same manner for both types.

At least one of these three plus gladass had been involved in every hand at this table, I don't think even an all in would have made all of them fold, I would expect one or even two of them to come along.

OK, in this case I would have won, but on the whole I would expect 33 to lose most of the time to two other players being in the hand.

I don't know what the numbers are, but I would hazard a guess that they are not high for pocket threes to win with two or three other players in the hand. ???

Once again Guys, thanks
