The proposal is to have ten of us put up $10.60 each to cover fees for at least five worthy PSOers who are interested in playing in a $21.20 Fifty50 Sit & Go. The player would get to keep 10% of the profit and would earn 6.6 VPPs. At any point the total Syndicate bankroll is over $106, the backers would receive an equal dividend payment for the amount over $106 bringing us back to the five entry bankroll.

The primary goal here is to develop a thread that might get decent participation and be fun to follow. The secondary goal is to help a few players get their Active Status. Of course the other goal is for the backers to maybe make a few dollars.

I’ll keep this thread updated, but I am going to request that one of the other backers be the Treasurer.

Once we have ten members in the Syndicate, we will each pick five of the applicants (total 50 votes) that we want to have play for us. The top vote getter will play first, second vote getter second and so on. As we need more players, we will vote for our choices for 6th, 7th and hopefully many more.

Who’s in?

I have not contacted anyone about this idea before posting it here, so I don’t know if it is viable. If this idea fails and there are not nine other people who want to be backers, I will put up one entire entry fee of $21.20 and pick one of the applicants to play. If that person cashes, I’ll pick a second player to continue the run.

Following is an example to help illustrate what I have in mind here regarding the money transfers.

Step 1) Nine people send $10.60 to the Treasurer.

Step 2) The Treasure sends $21.20 to the first player.

Step 3) The player cashes for $31.20.

Step 4) The player sends $30.20 (keeping his 10% profit) back to the Treasurer.

Step 5) The Treasurer sends $0.90 to the other nine backers.

Step 6) The Treasurer sends $21.20 to the second player.

Step 7) The backers vote in player number six.

I'm in too mmmm. But I'd suggest we start with the 106 to start. Then, hold all winnings til we get to at least 300 as a 10 buyin roll is likely to dwindle fast. But, just my opinion. Ship to jt right? tks all -shark

Maybe keep it until the 5 games are played or blocks of 5 games. I love the dividend concept. Atleast we should evaluate at every 5 games.

Might I suggest a timeframe to complete the game once funds are shipped?

Anything we change would have to be agreed to by all, but I am agreable to increasing the roll as we go. I almost put that in originally, but thought I was making things to confusing. My thought was 10% to the player, ??% to the roll and the rest divided up. If the roll built -- eventually move to the $31.80s and then to the $53s.

Good idea. It should be a short time frame. Player can let you know his window, then you schedule and ship with whatever time frame makes sense.

Also going to be important for the player to post the tourney number as soon as he is seated.

I would love to give the game a shot. I had a good run there early in the month. Was playing $20 fifty/50s then the damn sattelites to get into the sunday millions hurt my roll before I took out a $100. Working my way back up but lower stakes it takes some time.

Or if someone can give me some insight if this can be a profitable gamble for sponsoring people I could use $10 of my stellar rewards I got saved ATM toward a backer.

Currently tough cause My wife just started playing and trying to convince her to play the 10c 360 mans but she doesn't get the point of playing 2 hours for 20c lol.
So she is playing $1 50/50s

So far to date Drew300 -$20 to player transfer haha...

Let me know I'll try and help out either way

I would like to apply to be a player. I feel I've been running good for the last few weeks.I feel at the 20 sng mark people would play real poker an not just donk around like at the 1 and 2 dollar mark.

I did earn EA2USN a nice return off his 3.20 stake last week....also I need to earn about 5 more fpp's to be active for next month and with my bankroll depleted I wont be able to earn those without decent freeroll win in the next few weeks.I am making a deposit on april 1st(birthday present to myself) so i would even be willing to repay the 20 buy-in if i failed to cash.

Thanks

Probably better to keep you in the player pool for now Drew.
