Poker Investment Club

Hi folks,

My goal is to have fun and make some cash,

- we each invest $10.00
- we re-invest all winning
- we vote on new backer/players only, backers do not need to be voted in
- we vote on removing members
- we vote on rule changes
- you may cash out at anytime
- new members, pay a % of current bankroll, depending on number of members.

We start with playing the $5.30 buy in 50/50’s
Once we start building our bankroll, we move up $10 and so on,
We will make the move up by vote.

We will run 5 horse’s a day, not in rotation, they play when their ready.
Having 10 players means you play every 2nd day,
If you cannot play that day, another horse will take or trade your day.

Once club is up and running, we will vote on when we pay out 50% of our bank roll,

You will also have your choice which type of game you want to play, turbo or reg.

All other members will have one vote.

There may be changes to this contract before we start playing, because l want members input first

We probably want to talk about a stipulation for this, as I'm sure someone at some point will reg for one by accident with another member already signed up.

hmmm. ya good point,

l made that rule so there would be no worries that some one would say we were cheating,
l think as long as we take a good look before we register for the game, we may never have two horse's in the same game, l hope anyways.

cheers

Agreed, and in a perfect world we never will, I just think in reality someone at some point will do it by mistake. It happens. Pretty sure when it does on the rare one-off occassion no one can say we did it to cheat.

Maybe for clarity and the reason you stated, leave it in, just modify it to say that members must make every effort to not join a game with another group member in it. Then when it happens by mistake the person isn't subject to a lashing, but at the same time it's crystal clear so if someone were to start doing it on more than an accidental basis, we could say dude, you know the rules, what gives?

Many thanks for the invite eff, but I won't be joining at this stage.

Just to clarify my position for all those who are currently experimenting with these deals. My interest is as a horse rather than a staker. And even then, only for games that I wouldn't normally play for reasons of unacceptable (to me) variance, EV or incorrect BRM.

The games in which I've already been staked ($20 50/50's and $5 90 man SNG's) both fall into this category, but that's not the case with the $5 50/50's.

Good luck to all involved.

"A private investment group, by invite only."

Are all invites out? If someone declines... will another get the invite?

To my pso friends out there,

l started this investment club on the fly, thinking it may be fun, and a way of making some cash for all of us, l did forget to invite a few, my bad.

At this time, anyone that is interested will have to go on the vote in list,

Also not sure how big we want this to go, that will be up to our members by vote.

cheers

That way we can have a real vote.
