50. 377071273 10th Bust hand: A3s<AK Fought miy azz off to get to the bubble with no cards, this was by far the biggest hand I had seen in like 5 rotations, was the button, got it in Well at least my timing sucks............

So that's the first 50. Not at all happy with the numbers quite frankly, but I also have to believe that my luck in these can't run much worse than it did in the first 50. And quite frankly I made more than my share of egregiously stupid plays as well, some out of frustration yes,but frustration CAN NEVER be a motivating factor in this game and I should know better by now. The second you say or think "Eff it" at a table is the second the deck is going to say "No,eff you pal."

On the upside (way up for a mini-micro grind like I'm doing right now) I did snag a 4th out of 2002 runners in the .25 $100 added MTT the other night,so a $33 return on .25 is pretty sweet. Ineedsome$$ from PSO ran deep in that as well so congratualtions to him.

And I have to also take into consideration that even though I feel that I left a fair amount of money on the table,my fault, bad luck--really does'nt matter--I STILL made a 1/3 profit on my actual investment of capital, and from the $6.25 jumping off point I almost tripled it.

So here's to a sick run of the deck hitting me in the face the second 50................

Maybe if I wore assless chaps?........................

Cowboy Fan for the longest time. Yankee Fan because Money can buy you good baseball players, and Lakers Fan just because it would be the most annoying w/ my other picks. And no, Big Ass here. Can take on a lot more bandwagons. -shark. LOL

THIS is the kind of crap that's getting dropped on me left and right in these. He had the audacity to say I made a bad play and should have thought I was behind after his shove.

My stats for the game VPIP: 16% Pre-flop raise: 14% His VPIP:71% Pre-flop raise:38%

I have literally never seen an effing doofus gifted the way this guy was in this game. He showed down with luckbox suck after luckbox suck. Live 10 peeps woulda been waiting in the parking
lot for this azzhole as he laughed every time he donked someone.

Whatever, that one killed my taste for playing the rest of the night. Well after I finish getting donked out of my 90 man. Should be any second.

Busy with other stuff lately (new PT "job",could be good for xtra bucks in the summer when I basically have no income coming in........),so time to get back on the stick so to speak..............

54. 377509487 27th Bust hand: 66<A3o turns his ace
55. 377510219 12th Bust hand: K10s<KJ King flops,nothing else
56. 378350360 17th Bust hand: KK,A4o runner runner 4 flush on the 4 no less,I was 4th in chips,he was chip leader. My hand holds here I have like 60% of the chips in play in my stack. Needed a few days off after this BS.
57. 378351196 21st Bust hand: A10o<99 I blanked here literally 2 minutes before the KK hand above.
58. 381343569 13th Bust hand: A9s<AQo One of the few times I've gone in bad.
59. 381344245 6th Bust hand: QJs<98o I was very short,ATC call for him flops 107A rainbow,2 turns,natch I spike a jack on the river lol
60. 381523672 30th Bust hand: AQo<AKs total blanks,I lose.........
61. 381524258 34th Bust hand: AJs<77 AQ9 flops I 4xbet,with 3 overs on the board he shoves all-in,I snap call---7 turns
62. 382382749 4th Bust hand: 22<QJo Q flops I never fade 2 overs in these it seems
63. 382383383 5th Bust hand: AJs<A10o 10 flops Think this is the 3rd time I've railed in these with AJ<A10
64.382414554 16th Bust hand: J10s<A2s J flops,runner runner flush gets me
65. 382415468 13th Bust hand: A2o<A6 Sb limps to my BB with the A6 A108 flops,figure I have it.......wrong answer mister

So through 65 I'm now 15 for 65 ITM (23%...putrid)

$16.25 invested $21.22 won Profit: $4.97 ROI: +30.6% (or again from a $6.25 jump off as honu prescribes in his challenge Profit: $14.97 and ROI is +239.5%...since the $6.25 is static--it never moves)

So even with a sick run good to finish I'm most likely gonna come up way short here. Do I think I can do this? Yes,definitely. I've really hit some rotten luck in these lately, but still been able to turn a profit. So just a run "normal" (whatever the Hell THAT is........) and I feel I would have about 5-7 more cashes here, and a couple of those would have been top 2 finishes with the stacks I would have been taking to the FT had my hands not gone Kablooey.

Oh well,as the recently departed Dandy Don Meredith used to say..............

"If if's and but's were candy and nuts, then everday would be Christmas."

I'm gonna finish these up ASAP and then prolly load it up again. I know that I want to do a larger sample of these .25 45 mans (the 90's as well) than what I have so far. And it's always cool to have a goal out there to shoot for.

Real quick I'm typing this post at 2AM after having gone to the Orioles home opener earlier. 4-0.I can't frigging believe my eyes, lol.

Mcriss and a few others may be familiar with this phrase...........

"How 'bout dem O's,Hon?"

I'm thinking the Moxie Pip taking of the honu .25 45 man SNG challenge is going to come to a screeching halt at 70 games. I'm just completely phucking worn out with the endless stream of Bullshit Stars is heaping on me in these................

66. 382520246 9th Bust hand: 66<AQo Again as stated in the last post,I load up one of these the last 5-6 weeks and forget about my pair fading 2 over cards, ever. And you can flip it to. If I have 2 overcards they're gonna flop a set, guaranteed.
67. 382760365 30th Bust hand: AKs<KK 32 hands in and the 2nd playable hand I had.
68. 382761107 20th Bust hand: A10s<KQo Q turns. Wish I had saved this hand,I actually typed "GG all" into chat as I just knew it was coming.............
69. 383051516 20th Bust hand shown below: After an endless stream of 53,64,J3 and the like this was the FIRST hand I had that was worth playing. And if Debbie did Dallas,Houston,Ft.Worth,Austin and Waco she wouldn't suck out more than this chick did in this game.

I mean really Stars? Really? Okay I could live with the loss except for the fact that from about the 12-14 players left point I was the ONLY player on my table NOT effing limping to open pots and it just drives me nuts to watch these limp dyck bitches do this over and over and over again while the deck is being crammed in my azz sideways at the same time. And then hit their frigging hands.

Yes it's only 25 cents. Yes we all want bad players against us in reality. But I am hyper-competitive,I mean I hate losing in anything with a passion.Like I'm the kind of guy that would go 4 for 5 when I played baseball and still be chewing on the 1 out 2 hours later. And when I lose not because someone beat me straight up,but because they played like an idiot and got lucky it rankles. Do I suck out sometimes when I play a hand wrong and get lucky? Yeah,of course. And if I've ever done it to you you know that I'm probably gonna hit you with a "sorry" or at least "ooops". And I've long ago accepted that I'm doomed to be on the side of the donked rather than the side of the donker way,way ,more that the other way around. 90% of the time I rail in something my chips went in best,or at least I got in knowing I was flipping or maybe a little behind but it was time to go. I kind of know that's how poker will always be for me. But as I've said before--To me it's not that you WILL eventually get beat holding the better hand when the chips went in the middle, rather it's WHEN.

What's finally gotten my goat in these over the last 5-6 weeks of running the way I have in them during that stretch is that my luck in them seems to run nothing but sour in them lately while at the same time I watch just egregious stupidity be rewarded over and over again. Want to see an example? My out hand in the last one look at Seat #2-- Carax123. Here's the brilliance he brought to bear in this one................

It was 12 or 13 players left at this point and this goof is LIMPING AA from the SB. Into a stack that's even with him. Then after a flop that,if not wet,is at least damp--he MIN-BETS. Then after his raise on the turn Wine&Cigars may as well send up a flare telling him "I have it idiot, and you GAVE it to me to boot!!!"--this is when he jams the pot. Drops to 317 chips left. And then the good old "RNG" hits his donk azz in the face with the deck for like 5 hands in a row,to reward his stellar poker acumen I guess. Just dazzling.

Meanwhile I get railed as a 60-40 favorite because I was the ONLY player on the table playing poker from the last 14 left in.

Just done with these I think. They tilt me more than they should. If my luck was just standard in these maybe they wouldn't t,but more than anything I play I've run bad in these for awhile.Yeah they're eminently beatable--I'm running like shit in them and still ahead. But not enough for how they've been pissing me off.

In all honesty I think what honu is doing right now may be the best approach to these--it works for guys I run into in them all the time--PaPa Tomate,z3mcoupe,Archfish,some others as well. They all load up 50-75 of these A DAY. Honu is banging them 10 at at time. I think mass tabling them would be the way to go and seeing as more than 3 makes my head hurt I don't see myself doing it.Play just 2-3 at a time and you get too emotionally invested in them I think (at least I do.)

I don't know at this point. These and the .25 90 man's are where I first had any real success in cash play here on Stars. So they hold a certain fondness for me. And I still say that for starting players with a BR of $20 or so ( you must allow for variance, just like anything else......) these are a great way to grind up your roll a little. And you should see enough bubbles and FT's if you play decently that the experience will grow your game there as well.

But I need a little break from them I think. Maybe a permanent one. Need a few days to mull it over.

So through 70 at least................

15 for 70 ITM (21.4%) This stinks on ice.................

$17.50 invested $21.22 won Profit is $3.72 ROI: +21.2% Again just crap here for me in these.
(or in honor of honu's original intent--and despite my current disillusion with these, good on you for getting peeps playing them honu,I DO think that they are sadly overlooked by beginning players that should be trying this game out-- so........from a base of $6.25 as per the honu challenge--Profit: $14.97 ROI is +239.5% again this stays static as a starting point so profit and ROI can only increase once the $6.25 barrier is broached.)

I'm going to try and find the want to to finish this up (calling me a puss in some PM's would help) but at 2 hours a throw in these a run bad like I'm on is making me appreciate the $1.11 50/50's more and more ( a little better ROI,they are done in 25-45 minutes generally AND you get VPP/FPP's).

Time to re-evaluate/re-calibrate some number of games played at the .10-.25 level goals I had originally made with myself over the next couple of days and see whether or not I should come off those and move on. I'm comfortable/happy with my overall numbers but the sample (500 some odd games) is lacking compared to where I wanted to get to,and I hate leaving things unfinished.

Okay the catharsis is over for tonight. Commence flaming and put your seats in their full upright position.

Just wanted to show that I witnessed that hand.

And in that last hand, the only player I had notes on was Carax. He proved me right.

zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh and keep at it Mox, I know you can turn it around.

Well yeah, that's true enough. And any mental part of my game just went on hiatus for a few days when I saw the new avatar. Holy chit, warn a dude would ya? lol

No rigging. Just weirding me out the way the cards are running in these particular games though. Literally been in some where the biggest stack by far is some dude who is -90% ROI on OPR,and plays even worse, and you're just sitting there, mouth agape, watching them donk suck hand after hand, thinking "Great,I had to load up for their one cash of the fortnight/month/season/year/millenium."

Yeah he's quite a "special" player alright. Have notes on him form November I think, that AA limp isn't even in the top 5 bad plays I've seen from him either.

Dude i ran 500 games at +$90 profit and 30% itm and my last 160 games I am 12% itm and - $5. I have 340 games to go and will just keep playing my game. I know it sux and yes it is easy to blame Jokerstars rng but we can't control that!
