I wanted everyone to know that Utah State Senator Bill Henrickson was brutally gunned down outside his home yesterday by a disturbed neighbor. He was a good man and this is a tragic loss to us all. His family would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

Before anyone falls for this idiotic tripe Utah State Senator Bill Henrickson was Bill Paxton's lead role in the HBO Series "Big Love". He was killed in last night series finale.

So there's your "tragic loss".

I would focus more on Pres' tragic re-apperarance...................

By the way Pres, since the Bill Henrickson character was a Polygamist with 3 wives and you describe him as a good man, does that mean that polygamy recieves a thumbs up on your "high moral standards" scale?

Azzhat.

while the quoted text is relevant - once upon a time there was an off topic section - and the quoted text would still apply - an off topic section would provide a space for hardware questions, jokes etc .

As for the person that started the thread - I will admit it has been peaceful here of late and I for one have been enjoying it - please don't respond to his threads, let them die a natural death due to still birth.

This is not true. He is a real person and he was a hero for all who believed in the principle of plural marriage and was the first major elected official who did so. He was a courageous man whether you agree with the principle or not and what happened to him was horendous.
