Hi all,
I just signed up for the PSO last week and been having fun playing in the freerolls. It brings back memories of playing on POKER PAGES back in the early 2000's. (under different names). That was the 2nd poker site i ever played on and loved it. I was able to build a small BR from the freerolls on there.

I only won the membership to PSO once then but focused on MTT's as i was just learning the game. Its so nice to be involved in this as i have no one around here to help my game and i am always looking to learn.

I have won alot of micro tourneys over the years at different sites. Cant wait until i win won here...LOL. (**prays**)

Books are great. ive read alot of them. but i will be looking forward to what PSO has to offer.

Ive been playing and have learned the game starting with the WPT boom on the travel channel. I dont play live at casinos much and when i do its small rebuy tourneys.

I have recently been trying to work on cash game play. i have improved but still need alot of work.

Anyways, Looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Hey Mike, welcome to the site and the forum. Thanks for the intro.
Lots of great people here, so if you have any questions about the league, you can ask away here in the forum or send a pm.
Check through all the tabs up top to see what is available and get a lot of info on the league. The league tab explains the scoring and the leaderboard. Be sure to click the red link words there to get further explanations.
I'll be sending you a pm soon.
Take care and best o' luck!

Welcome! You are in the right place to learn. I to started playing poker during the wpt boom, saw a tourney being played on tv and then a promotion saying download our site and play for free .... been hooked every since LOL! Been a member of PSO for about 4 months now and so far have learned some good stuff from these people.

Main thing I learned is if you have any sort of questions or need any advice just make a new thread and see what happens, somebody will more than likely direct you into the place you need to be. GL!

Thanks everyone. Good to be here for sure.

Not sure how often ill be posting as I never know when im going to be able to be online during the week but the weekends are when i play most as far as tourneys. I usually play cash and sng's during the week.

I have taken all the tests except the newest MTT one. will be doing that soon. The SNG one helped me get perspective on some "correct" plays. i always seem to be the bubble boy in them no matter what i do..play slow... loose. The thing is i think its just that way with the smaller stakes and theyll call with nothing and knock me out...ooops...i guess this should be somewhere else..LOL.

Anyways, great to hear from you and im really looking forward to that note taking class next!
