Wow Joe,that's super cool. Thanks. Although he retired before I was born,I'm a big baseball buff as to the history of the game and it's great players and personalities and Teddy Ballgame is at the top of my list as far as the people I respect the most to have ever played the game.So just very, very cool.

Would love to see the Baseball Channel,or someone, for the 20th anniversary of it,rerun Bob Costas's one hour interview with Williams and Joe Dimaggio before the 1991 All-Star Game this year. Was a major coup by Costas to get these two to do ANY interview (both were famously private individuals) and it was done at the time to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1941 season--the year of Dimaggio's 56 game hitting streak and Williams hitting .406,the last player to hit .400.

Give Williams the years that he lost volunteering to be a combat pilot in 2 different wars (WWII and Korea) and he quite possibly would have broken Babe Ruth's home run record. (Think about how different a world it was then, when stars like Williams and many, many others were WILLING to be on the front lines of sacrificing for their country). Also Williams authored what many consider to be the authorative book on fly fishing. Just a very complex, very talented guy.

As for Moxie Soda, (I'm assuming this was soda........) can honestly say I've never heard of that one. Local brand in the Beantown area maybe?

Just a neat pull Joe,thanks.

http://www.moxie.info/ <- all you'd ever want to know about "Moxie"

http://www.moxie.info/findmox.htm <- a list of places where you can GET "Moxie" (from the above site)

Get a 6-Pack of "Moxie" for $9.50 HERE: http://www.americasmarket.net/index.asp?page=Sodas

Sounds vaguely "Root Beer-ish"...

I'll bet you didn't even look that up, JDean. You had it in your notes somewhere.

Well, you DO know what Someone once said:

Now I know why you've done so much math homework towards your poker game!

The general who wins the battle makes many calculations in his temple before the battle is fought. The general who loses makes but few calculations beforehand.
