As a US player I am grateful that PokerStars has allowed me to play on their site the last four and a half years. I started playing on this site in 2003 after Chris Moneymaker hit his big score. For three years I enjoyed playing and as I watched the site get bigger and better. I was having a blast. Then, just after the UIGEA was passed, I remember reading:

“PartyPoker, PokerStars to pull out of US Market.

Gambling911.com has learned that PartyPoker and PokerStars will likely be following 888.com suit and be pulling out of the US market.

Originally published October 2, 2006 1:41 am ET”

Party pulled and Stars stayed. Thank you. I’ve chosen to be grateful for what you gave me over the last four and a half years instead of being upset that I don’t have it today. It was a great run.

Am I bummed? Yeah, but my troubles are insignificant compared to what many of the wonderful people at PokerStars are going through. I refuse to whine about my loss.

Good luck as you move forward. Please know, if you ever come back into the US market, I will be back with you immediately.

Thanks again.

I would also like to express my gratitude to PS, and to PSO. I've grown as a player and person due to all of you. Thanks, and I will continue to see all of you here at least until we move to Canada. GL to all of you. -Shark/Cookies

Nice guys,

still in the process of making a deposit Shark for the other site. Depositing issues and I have an appointment with the bank Friday morning, who are state owned

I just hope that this is not a fallout from Black Friday for players based in Germany.

At least you guys should get your money from Pokerstars pretty quickly now
