If there's a way that I can just paste the whole hand with the table and cards and not with words, I've seen other people post it that way, can you please tell me cause this way seems really messy.

My question is, how should I have played this hand better?

The opponent raised to 4BB preflop. It can be for other hands, but alot of the time, it'll be a big A or pair or large suited cards. If they have an ace or a suited K then you're in serious trouble with the flop as you only have 2 outs (the other J's).

I like the check on the flop. At least that gives you a free chance to get another J. If you were the original raiser preflop, I'd have made a bet here (750 chips or so)... to see where I'm at.

Since they raised preflop, I'd have checked the turn too. You don't want to be betting into a hand that you probably only have 2 outs to beat. If they bet the turn, you need to muck the hand and save your chips for a better situation.

For the river, I'd have checked again if I was still in... and their raise there is probably AK or even worse with a flush. It really sounds like AK to me.

JJ, when you see overs on the flop is a check/fold, unless you get a set.... and even if you get the set, if there are overs too, you have to be worried about a broadway straight.

I like the call pre on this depth of money personally. Check/fold the flop is fine, this is obviously a pretty horrible flop for JJ. I like the turn bet but you don't need to bet so much. I assume you're betting because he's disconnected and timed out on the flop. You can make a min bet if that's the only reason for betting. Once he reconnects and calls your turn bet, I would shut it down and just check the river. He's not folding for another 750 on the end and it's hard to see him calling the turn with worse. Just give up at that point imo.
