So I got myself into this situation. Would you say that I made the right play or should have waited for a better moment?

THis was the sunday storm and I was in the early phase of the tournament.

determining whether to play it or not is going to be based on my reads at the table and how they are playing. If the person that raised to 450 is playing really tight, I'd probably muck it. If they're playing loose, then I'd consider playing it. You have basically 10BB, so if you did want to muck it, you have some time to find another hand.

If you are going to play it, I totally agree with the push. What you want to do is to isolate yourself with only 1 opponent and get rid of the limpers that will be drawing at you and you hope that the opponent has either a smaller pair (unlikely) or 2 overcards (puts you in a race) and not an over pair (you then only have 2 outs).

Don't know the result of the hand, but that A on the flop cannot have been a good thing. But better to be up against one opponent than with 3 or more others (where you're basically guaranteed to be up against an A).
