Hey all, if any of you guys are around the Michigan area, just letting you know that my wife (Starlanna, in case you didn't know) and I will be at the Soaring Eagle casino in Mt. Pleasant on Friday May 20th and Saturday May 21st. If anybody wants to meet up, we could all enter a sit-n-go, catch a bite to eat, and/or hit the slots/table games.

The Heartland poker tour will also be there that weekend so there is plenty of excitement to be had. Check out the Soaring Eagle website or the Heartland Poker tour website for info on their tournament that weekend. Big bucks! It sucks that live games are about the only legit outlet now but gotta make the best of it.

Hope everyone is having success where ever you all are playing these days.
PS- Cashed out today for $587.98. Not too bad for a 30 dollar deposit. Thanks Pokerstars and PSO. Wish the party didn't have to end!

Good to hear you and Starlanna are getting some poker in.
And no I did not know, Star was your wife, but I do know the
name of your cat lol
So give Happy a nice tummy tickle, and you both will win big
at your bricks and mortar trip.
Good Luck

pm Sailor Moe.

Ther eis a good chance he will be t the HPT there.

I havent talked to Leon in a while (my headset is broke), so I'm not POSITIVE of this. but he does tend to hit a lot of the HPT's.

Hey there Jim, I didn't know starlanna was your wife so congratulations.
My wife, sculpt, and I live about 35 miles NE of Soaring Eagle.
I just checked, and the Heartland Tournament is the week end before, 14th and 15th.
I don't know if that will change your plans or not, we won't be playing in it but maybe we can get together when you do come up this way.
Send me a PM on your plans.

Jim

Thanks Hobo, not sure how I messed up the Heartland Poker dates. wishful thinking maybe! We will be there the 20th and 21st though. I will send you a pm as the date approaches with more info.

PS- good luck Sailor Moe if you enter the Heartland event. Fossilman and Tom McEvoy will both be there. Should be fun. But sadly, wrong weekend for us.

Soaring Eagle does not have tournaments on Friday or Saturday with the exception of the last Saturday of the month.
They do have a NLHE tournament on Sundays at 12:30 pm. It is $65 and will last about 6 hours.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Hobo
