Have you tried going to pokerstars.com on your IE?

There should be a link to ps here on the pso home page too.
I know it shows up when I first bring up the site, before logging in, in a red box to the right here.

As far as the version, or language, I thought someone said there is a way to change the language, but I'm afraid I don't know. Email support@pokerstars.com and explain it to them, they'll get back to you quickly.

Getting PokerStars is easy: download and install the PokerStars game software, create your free player account, and validate your email address. Clicking on the download poker button will lead to the installation of compatible poker software on your PC of 51.7 MB, which will enable you to register and play poker on the PokerStars platform. To uninstall PokerStars use the Windows uninstaller: click Start > Control Panel and then select Add or Remove programs > Select PokerStars and click Uninstall or Remove.
