Its going to be really interesting to see the trades.

Still cant get over Phillys trades but I heard Carter had banged Hartnell and Brieres wives so no big suprise.Plus him and Richards liked to party and Pronger had beef with Richards,oh the drama.

Maybe they'll find another Radek Bonk.

And before anyone starts I'll throw a few names out there:

Dave Chyzowski

Scott Scissons

Brett Lindros

Michael Rupp

Robert Nilsson

Petteri Nokelainen

Ryan O'Marra

Yea the old "Chemistry" problem. I was surprised that they both went. I was expecting the Columbus trade but not the other.

They definitely had to lock a goalie after that pathetic display in the playoffs by their net-minders.

Got to be better than the NBA's yesterday. Too many undergrads staying in school for fear of lockout. Good for them, bad for the draft. Looks like Hockey may be this year's only winter sport.

Interesting story... Chick whom I knew from class was working at hooters. Anyways, we're there talkin hockey.. She comes back with our drinks while in mid conversation and overhears us mention Radek Bonks name. She says, "You know I bonked, bonk?"

Wish I had a pic of all our faces at that moment.... good times

What I found interesting was Richards still had 9 years left on his contract, and Carter has 11 years.

So they trade both, and sign Bryzgalov to another 9 year contract.

They definitely have holes to fill up front now.

That's just too funny.

I believe that any future reference of this player should include an exclamation point after his name:

Bonk!

It just sounds better.

Not sure they could ever have that many holes up front.

If you shut the door instead of leaving it ajar that should get rid of the draft

daigle wasnt the biggest mistake the sens made, take a look at yashin hossa and chara all these players were let go still in there prime, the biggest blow to this is that 2 out off these 3 now have stanley cup rings with other teams, ottawa is a prime example off what goes around comes around always blaming the wrong players for there failure in the playoffs my question is why is daniel alfredsson still on the team,he has great regular season results but not so good in the playoffs seems to me when it matterd most alfredson choked, good luck in the future for the sens to make better choices i do also want them to get a cup before toronto wins there next cup good luck to ypu in your poker games

This was about "Draft" mistakes and yes daigle was the biggest draft mistake the Sens ever made. I'd like to point out that both Pronger and Kariya went later in that draft

Yashin wasn't really a mistake, he played well for us when we were not a contending team, but eventually his own corruption forced him out. Seeing how he did with his new team *cough cough*, that was actually one of our best moves ever.

Chara was definitely the biggest mistake the team has ever made in terms of letting a player go, but was because of cap issues, they really wanted to keep him.

Hossa was lost due to the new "Cap Era" which shafted the Sens above pretty much all other teams, as we had developed our young team the way you should, only to get screwed over by the New Cap system while entering our prime. Such is life

your right about the daigle draft theres over 20 players that would off easily been a better selection then he was,and some off these players are still in the league hope fully ottawa can rebound back some day and win a cup before toronto wins another and good luck in your poker games
